Alcorns arrangement is too much like SU's for my like... so i go with JSU on that. Shaw's was very creative but i believe it isnt really neck... but rather 'Neckside' as they call it. BASED off of neck. BCU was... eh... Well BCUish. Like how Jackson State played Alcorn's fite song. I'll admit...that siht was tight. This is Alcorn's first season playin that neck so i'm still not sure about what I think about it. NCAT was cool. Shaw sounds good. BCU is just so stiff. Everything sounds like a production number. I always liked our Neck because it gave the whole ensemble a challenge. Central's was rather good. Shaw seemed to be having a lot of fun, so good job there. JSU just brought that traditional Neck, which has a lot of energy in it. Alcorn did sound a little like Southern, but only maybe in approach to the arrangement. It still put in a lot of power. BCU, I could see why they are called "robotic," but I think that getting that many people to look exactly the same deserves a little bit of praise. Good job to all the bands!
